ASHLEY MANGONE
OWNER, HEAD COACH, CF-L2 TRAINER,
CF KIDS TRAINER
Athletics and competition have always been part of my life. Fitness and nutrition are now my entire life. I stepped into my first CrossFit Class in January of 2012. I instantly fell in love with the process. I started to realize my mental and physical limitations are far beyond what I originally thought. I could push harder and longer than I ever imagined. Through education, practice, and discipline, I learned to utilize fitness and nutrition to live my healthiest, happiest life imaginable. Helping others learn how to fuel their bodies properly and push themselves to their absolute limit is extremely powerful as a coach. Watching the transformation take place right in front of my eyes is what sets my soul on fire. I want this for every single person that walks through the doors of Renegade Training. Your progress is my passion. -Bachelor of the Arts, University of Pittsburgh -Master of Education, Chatham University -CrossFit Level 2 Trainer -CrossFit Kids Trainer

CrossFit found me in 2017 and Renegade Training has always been my home. I started CrossFit with the goal to get in shape and over the years developed a particular passion for weightlifting. As a coach, I’m full of enthusiasm and zest! It’s incredible to watch our members achieve their goals and try new things. I really enjoy introducing new workout components and challenging our membership. Outside of the gym, I am a school social worker for Pittsburgh Public Schools and coach middle school cross country. I’m originally from Colorado and enjoy everything outdoors!

CARMODY
I am a current D3 ice hockey player at Chatham University along with my twin sister. I started CrossFit in 7th grade as a way to stay in shape and improve my performance during the off-season. I love that CrossFit pushes you mentally and physically and makes you leave the gym realizing you are more than capable than you thought you were. The best feeling is working hard towards accomplishing a new skill or getting a PR on an Olympic lift. It’s even better when you get to see your gym friend accomplish their goals too! When I am not in the gym, I am a full-time student at Chatham University majoring in cell molecular biology and exercise science. My goal is to attend medical school in the future and specialize in sports medicine. When I am not in school, I love to be outside exploring Pittsburgh or reading a good book! I am excited to meet and coach you all at Renegade Training and help you on your fitness journey.

CF-L1 TRAINER
Hey everyone! My name is Cameron and I am currently playing D3 Women’s Ice Hockey at Chatham University alongside my twin sister. I have been doing Crossfit since I was in 7th grade to enhance my performance on the ice as well as to stay in shape during the on and off-season. I absolutely love CrossFit because every workout challenges you mentally and physically and you leave the gym learning your limits were not where you thought they were! I also think that nothing beats the rush of achievement that comes from breaking a personal record or mastering a new skill, especially when you're surrounded by friends in class. It is even better when you see your friends do the same and are there to celebrate their achievements with them! Outside of the gym, I am a full-time student at Chatham University where I am majoring in cell molecular biology and exercise science. I plan on attending medical school and as of right now, I am interested in orthopedics. When I am not at school I love to read, hike, and explore Pittsburgh with my friends. I am excited to be coaching at Renegade and I look forward to helping you achieve your goals!

PT, DPT
I am a former D1 cross country and track and field runner (graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013). My husband convinced me to try CrossFit in 2022 and I have loved the challenge of learning new olympic lifts, gymnastics movements, and becoming part of a motivated and fun community. Outside of the gym I have my doctorate of physical therapy and work with older adults in the inpatient physical therapy setting. I love being able to help older adults gain back mobility and movement after neurologic or orthopedic injuries. I am excited to apply my PT background to help athletes achieve their best potential in and out of the gym. When I am not working or at the gym I am most likely reading a book, planning a hiking trip with my husband or buying plants.
